HOMELESS MINISTRY
CHOSEN 300
Chosen 300’s mission is to bring people of different membership groups together; helping them to realize that despite differences in race, ethnic group, denomination, social class, economic classes, or the diverse ways we practice faith; we can unify for the common good by distributing meals and services to the homeless throughout the Philadelphia Region and around the world. Wayne Church cooks & serves a meal at their Spring Garden Street location the 4th Saturday, every other month.

Family Promise of the Main Line (formerly known as Interfaith Hospitality Network – IHN – of the Main Line) is a non-profit that supports homeless families who have fallen on hard times. Families typically are supported several weeks until they are once again employed and have found housing. It has even been mentioned on the today show! (Today show clip) Wayne Church, along with several other congregations, supports Central Baptist Church when they house the two or three families for a week five times a year.
If you are interested in helping to prepare and/or serve a meal or volunteering to stay overnight (8:30 pm to 6:00 am AND you get to sleep!) as a chaperone, please email Becky Douglas. You can also support the mission of Family Promise through financial contributions here.
