• Sunday School in a Minute: Faith can grow anytime, anywhere. Sunday School in a Minute is Wayne Church’s online discipleship ministry, offering one-minute Bible lessons designed to encourage spiritual growth throughout the week.

Praise Break | Week 3: Unity of Praise

As we conclude our Praise Break series, Psalm 133 reminds us that we belong to God and to one another. Worship is more than something we do. It is how we grow together as disciples of Jesus Christ.

One of my favorite hymns is Lord, You Have Come to the Lakeshore. I first learned this hymn from Bishop Susan Morrison when I was a youth attending Annual Conference and summer camp at Camp Pecometh. Her investment in my faith reminds me that discipleship happens when we encourage one another and help others grow in Christ.

This Week’s Challenge: As you gather for worship today, thank someone who has helped you grow in your faith. Then encourage someone else on their journey with Christ this week.

Remember: Praise is not just something we do. Praise is the way we live because God is with us every step of the way.

Praise Break | Week 2: Sing Praises

Praise begins with remembering.

This week, we explore Psalm 105:2 and discover that singing is one way disciples remember God’s faithfulness. Every hymn and every song of praise tells the story of what God has done and reminds us that God has been with us every step of the way.

One of my favorite hymns is Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing. It includes the words, “Here I raise mine Ebenezer,” reminding us that God has helped us along the way.

This Week’s Challenge: Sing Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing or your favorite hymn this week. Then share one way God has been faithful to you.

Praise Break | Week 1: Behold the Face

Sometimes life gets busy. Sometimes life gets hard. That is why we all need a praise break.

This week, we begin our new series with Psalm 17:15, where David reminds us that true satisfaction is found in the presence of God. The world encourages us to chase more, but God invites us to seek a deeper relationship with Christ. When we seek God each day, we begin to see God’s grace at work in our lives.

This Week’s Challenge: Begin each morning by thanking God for a new day. 

Then ask God to help you see God’s grace at work throughout your day.

More Than Conquerors: Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love

We all face challenges, but the good news is that we never face them alone.

This week, we conclude our Core Faith series with More Than Conquerors from Romans 8. Paul reminds us that being more than conquerors does not mean that we never struggle. It means that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ.

Take one minute today to watch this week’s episode, reflect on God’s Word, and accept this week’s challenge.

Encourage someone with a kind word, a helping hand, or a reminder that they are loved. You never know how much hope one act of kindness can bring.

Bible Studies

At Wayne Church, we believe that studying Scripture is one of the ways God shapes us into faithful disciples. Our Bible studies invite adults to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover how God’s Word speaks to everyday life.
