Prayer of Confession
Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have not lived in light of your prevenient, justifying, sanctifying grace. We have done harm, sometimes intentionally, often unintentionally. We have failed to do good for others to our fullest potential. And we have not taken enough steps to grow closer to you. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
